무빅스(MoviX)? 무빅스(MoviX) © http://movix.sourceforge.net 용도에 따라 자유롭게 변형이 가능한 리눅스의 장점은 수많은 종류의 개발 프로젝트를 배출했습니다. 그 중 무빅스(MoviX) 프로젝트라는 개발자 그룹은 CD로 부팅하고 동영상을 재생하는 흥미로운 리눅스 배포판을 개발하고 있습니다. CD에 리눅스와 동영상 파일만 담으면 하드 디스크를 사용하지 않고 부팅하고 바로 동영상을 즐길 수 있게 됩니다. 또 시스템의 성능을 동영상 재생에만 사용하므로 사양이 낮은 PC에서도 끊김 없이 영화를 즐길 수 있다는 장점도 있습니다. 셀러론 500MHz 정도라도 메인 메모리만 128MB 이상 되면 MoviX를 돌리는 데 괜찮을 것 같습니다. MoviX의 종류
이 중 MoviX2는 XWindow 환경에서, eMoviX는 포터블 용도라고 합니다. 1. MoviX 구하기http://sourceforge.net/projects/movix/ 위의 링크를 따라가 보면 여러 버전이 나오는데, movix-0.8.3-iso.zip  파일을 선택했습니다.2. CD이미지 생성다운로드 받은 파일의 압축을 해제하면 movix-0.8.3.iso 라는 파일이 생성됩니다. 이 파일이 PC를 부팅시키고 동영상을 재생할 CD 이미지 파일입니다. 활용방법 : - 파일을 바로 CD로 굽기 (MoviX 부팅 CD롬으로 만들기) - MoviX CD 이미지 파일에 동영상 파일을 추가해서 굽기 (CD 용량을 감안) MoviX 시디로 부팅 후 동영상을 저장한 다른 시디로 교체하여 재생이 가능(오토 마운트)하기 때문이죠. 3. MoviX CD로 부팅하기 MoviX로 부팅한 모습 F1 ~ F4 까지의 키를 눌러서 메뉴를 선택하실 수 있습니다.  MoviX 메인 페이지 중요한 세팅 및 멀티미디어 파일의 재생이 가능합니다. 마우스 포인터가 뜨긴 하지만 키보드만으로도 제어가 가능합니다. 몇가지 메뉴 설명 자세히 보기 4. 동영상 재생하기 재생 시 사용되는 키 Enter 또는 Q : MoviX 메뉴로 돌아옴 왼쪽/오른쪽 방향키 : 10초 단위로 전진/후진 탐색 위/아래 방향키 : 1분 단위로 전진/후진 탐색 P 또는 스페이스 바 : 동영상 재생을 잠시 정지 또는 다시 재생 + 또는 - : 0.1초 단위로 소리를 지연 / : 볼륨 증가 * : 볼륨 감소 재생바가 없긴 하지만 훌륭하네요. 5. 한글 자막 보기이대로 DivX 동영상을 재생할 수는 있지만, 한글 자막인 경우 깨지기 때문에 설정 단계가 필요합니다. 먼저 한글폰트 하나를 부팅시디에 포함해야 합니다. 다른 매체에 포함한 뒤 부팅 후 불러와도 되겠지만 한글 폰트의 크기 상 애초에 부팅시디에 넣는 것이 좋으리라 봅니다. 혹은 FTP 기능이 있으므로 랜카드를 쓴다면 이 방법도 가능은 할 겁니다. 제 경우에는 굴림 폰트 (gulim.ttc 파일)을 포함시켰습니다. 시디 내 경로는 [mplayer]-[mplayer-fonts]입니다. 이 경로에 그 외의 폰트파일들도 다수 있는데 쓸 일이 없다면 제거해도 무방합니다. 폰트 파일은 Windows 계열의 OS를 쓴다면 Windows - Font 또는 Winnt - fonts 에서 하나 짚어오면 되겠습니다.  Edit - Mplayer Menu/Subs Options 메뉴 Font를 선택한 gulim.ttc로 변경해줬습니다. 다음으로 Subtitles의 encoding에서 cp949를 선택했습니다. 기본은 cp1252인데 cp949를 선택하니 우측에 MS Korean이라고 뜨는군요. 세팅 시 키는 Tab 키와 화살표 키를 쓰면 되겠습니다. 마지막으로 Save를 선택한 후 메인화면으로 돌아가면 재생을 해 봅니다. ※ 마치며 ※위 글의 내용은 islss님의 블로그 에서 부분 응용/발췌하였습니다. 감사의 말씀 드립니다. |

저는.. 집에 있는 컴퓨터 4대중에 3대는 윈도우를 사용하고 한대는 리눅스라우터로 사용중인데, 그냥 할짓없을땐 가끔 영화도 보고 한답니다. 뭐.. 윈도우랑 별다른것도 없습니다.a
X윈도우만 설치한다면야... 윈도우보다 쓰기 쉬우니...
